Even the White House is feeling the squeeze from the across-the-board cuts in federal spending. “From now on, my wife, Michelle, will only do four television appearances a week,” says “President Obama.”

SNL “jokes” that President Barry doesn’t understand economics and so he must rely on emotional appeals.

This could have been an RNC, CPAC or Tea Party skit from beginning to end!

Except that 2 of the 3 organizations you referenced just aren’t that clever.

Except it would have been both funny and well received, neither of which it was.

Saturday Night Live forgot that its humor was derived from tenth grade lunchroom boys corner sensibility. Only in such a place is politically incorrect, honest, imaginative comedy cultivated.

Befriend one is my advice, preferably one who must wear a tie to school

These people HUNGER for the truth, and they have an idea of what their future loooks lik, something our polititians and voting public ignore.

THey are cynical, creative, adorable, shocking and soemetimes disgusting.

SNL has turned into something unrecognizable and high school boys have no interest in it. That should tell the once Not Ready For Primetimers something.

Oh, well, they’re not looking for viewers as much as they’re looking for idealogical status quo. Or the spread of liberal acceptance. THey ought to be ashamed. They cannot hide BO’s ridiculousness.

REAL comedy - the boys will tell you- BO’s stating that there are 57 states, Hil saying what difference does it make, around the antics of the 21 Jump street gang.

SNL has probably been threatened by the thugs in the whitehut by now. Media is no long allowed to talk or act like that.

They looked very uncomfortable. The audience did not know what to do. I was gratified to think perhaps I was correct in the assessment that Mooch’s appearance on the Jumbotron at the Oscars was just over the lin overexposure.

They had to respond. Just an assumption.

But it was NOT comedy, what they did on SNL.

It’s NBC.

Why would anyone expect something different?

“But it was NOT comedy, what they did on SNL.” Very little of what they do on SNL is comedy anymore. They may attempt but fail miserably. Just doesn’t quite hit the right note but usually a very sour one. I used to love SNL political satire but they are NOT ANY GOOD! I used to look forward to the opening as the highlight of the night but don’t even watch now. I will never forget being in the hospital with our last child when Dana Carvey did his Ross Perot character and he was trying to ditch his running mate. I still think that is hilarious and Carvey doing Bush1 is classic. Darrel Hammond doing Bill Clinton was outstanding but they never really got Bush2 (too disrespectful and over the top) and certainly not Obama (boring and boring and unbelievable). The one Obama era skit I thought was funny came at the beginning of Obama’s first term, Chinese talking through an ambassador about our debt to them. Funny and true. That is all.

Look up the Starbucks commercial they did on this same show... it was the funniest things I've seen on SNL in decades! It as racist as hell... I can't believe they aren't catching flack for it... but, it was FUNNY!

Dana Carvey’s collection on video is hilarious to us.

He and his wonderful straight man crew parody The McLauglin group.

He does his impression of George Michael with the interviewing Dennis Miller, who rolls his eyes and manages to not laugh.

Perot is just great “you’re not listening” is something we use here to lighten up a disagreement.

Hahahahaha!

Michael Savage cracked us up in a rant about the necessity to use special language at Starbucks an dthe preponderence of workers of a type.

He said he was getting corrected on his word usage and he jsut wanted a cup of coffe.

He said, “listen, sweetheart, I’ve been coming to Starbucks long before you got outta rehab. Just get me the coffee.”

Michelle’s television appearances remind me of the rerun of Green Acres Arnold.
