Took my Dad for a finger stick and he was 4.2...way high. I will take off Thursday afternoon to take him back for another. He is supposed to be between 2 and 3. HE MUST GET MORE ACTIVITY she said. I’m checking on him every half hour today to get him up and walking. Also got him some Crocs...he is having trouble getting shoes on and just flattening the heels. I think they will work better for him...just slide his feet in. Tomorrow I take my Mom for a hearing test. She is reluctant, but I am having to repeat everything. I told her it is just a test, a baseline.

I expect to man the grill with John Man tomorrow evening. He hasn't grilled steaks as thick as these - I'll have to introduce him to "Barbecue With Beard" - my guide to outdoor cooking. It has served me well for over thirty years.
