Won’t work. Has as much of a chance as Afghanistan. Pouring money onto evil is like pouring gasoline on a fire. Let nature take it’s course.

Obozo will not allow nature to take her course. He must preserve his power base of voters. They are in the inner cities.

We might be able to starve them all into subjection. If they are hungry enough they might have the choice of work or starve.

I agree with you. The majority in Detroit do not work and most of those that do work for the city. This is a failed city and no amount of prodding will make the bad element in Detroit get jobs and they lack the education to start businesses. No one with any sense wants to relocate to Destroit to attempt to give it new life. There are too many unions and too much crime. Those problems must be addressed first not to mention they will have to rebuild the infrastructer. The place looks and feels like a warzone.

I worked for a municipality in PA which was under Commonwealth fiscal control. Act 47 they called it.I think they have been on this program for 20 plus years. It works well in motivating the local elected to come up with “new ways” to work the system, if you know what I mean.
