OPINION: Emergency Manager Won’t Work In Detroit, Hasn’t Worked Elsewhere
CBS -Detroit ^ | Eric Thomas

It could come Friday, when a cadre of officials makes the announcement from Lansing. It will start, regardless of whether the voters rejected it or not. It will start, and the only evidence we have to predict the outcome bodes very badly. An already tenuous situation could become worse, beyond the imagination of anyone involved.

Detroit is dead. No amount of outside money to the people who live there will fix that. Anyone who is capable of running a business lives in the city, all moved to the burbs.

The Muzzie element will go to war if they are cut off the welfare mechanism.

Glad I don’t live within 2 states of them.

Socialism is a total failure everywhere it has been tried. Not a single success story. The only nations that came close had a stable civilization. That is not present in Detroit.

The left creates nothing, only destroys. Worst of all it kills the human soul. In some cases they murder to stay in power. The past century was a good example of the cost of Totalitarianism. In the hundreds of millions were killed because of Totalitarian rule. Pure Evil.

“That’s the solution - gardens and windmills.”

‘Don’t forget raising goats.’

Various posters: “Bulldoze it!”

I think goats are indeed the missing ingredient in the self-sufficiency equation of a future harmonious, bucolic, and bulldozed Detroit, a sustainable diverse and pettable environment for all Detroiters. Goats are darned friendly and their sh*t hardly stinks at all!

Besides, the view would be nicer from Windsor!

Any multiple posts are not the result of me deliberately posting multiple times. I haven’t had much success posting, or even reading posts, since the FR meltdown
