Actually, if some idiot wants to pay more than something is worth, in order to shut it down, let him. There's nothing to prevent another entrepreneur, or the original owner, for that matter, from restarting another business for the same clientele. The second time, he'll start a whole lot richer, and will likely have an even better publication.

Just as Cheaperthandirt.com has demonstrated marketing dominance of the internet, so too will the net provide far better gun data availability.
Fact is, it already has. As an example, nearly any firearm has a disassembly and reassembly video on the net. Same for shooting of many weapons. And with Brass Fetcher and Box ) Truth covering ammo performance, I have not even bothered to read a “gun magazine” for quite some time.

“I have not even bothered to read a gun magazine for quite some time.”
They are probably going to go the way of the dinosaur at some point. The forums that exist now are stunning in their encyclopedic knowledge of guns and all things that go bang.
I am a member of several and have drawn on the experience of others in a way that was never available through magazines.

The owner wants to gut the business - employees are sitting around waiting for pink slips? And it’s a viable business?
No brainer...
The ‘staff’ needs to set up a competing business and DO what they’ve been doing for years. Running the place. Get with a lawyer, partner with some investment groups... just do it. Buy lists or create new ones...

Nobody is disputing that. We can guess, however, that this asshole wants NO pro-gun businesses existing. And I don’t see any problem with anyone posting the article, either.

He’s deliberately wrecking his investments, IMO. If he had his way, which he won’t, thanks to other good entrepreneurs, pro-gun media types wouldn’t have a pot to piss in. That’s what is so galling. Like I said, pure evil.
