If I owned a business, I would not mind at all if travelers stopped and used the restrooms. If I ever get the urge and am shopping at a nearby town, I always use Lowe’s because they are the cleanest.

I also do a lot of shopping there tho not necessarily at the same time I visit their bathrooms

Buccee’s has people on payroll working 24/7 cleaning the restrooms.

I dunno... you might change your mind! LOL

Hubby was returning to our business one day and got behind someone driving REALLY fast. As he was nearing the shop, he noticed that they had pulled into our parking lot.

According to the office manager, the guy came rushing in the door (nearly knocking over a customer) and hurried into the bathroom, which is directly off the customer lobby/office. After that, there passed several minutes of loud, strange noises from the bathroom and some awkward silence between the manager and the customer. To quote the manager, “It sounded like the bathroom scene in ‘Dreamcatcher’ was being played out in there!”

Eventually, the guy came out (without flushing), went directly to his car without saying a word and drove off. The smell would have stripped paint! His “thank you for letting me use your bathroom” was diarrhea all over the toilet and floor.
