we really do need people to start supporting the better side.....we really do need people to stop complaining for 4 yrs and then vote in the communist dictator AGAIN....

but alas, so called conservatives and patriots have their noses stuck up in the air so high that can't even see the damage they have done by not voting for republicans, enmasse....

support whatever candidate you want in the primaries....but once the field is set, we've got to vote our side in....

The Texas GOP can’t even find a Democrat primary challenger for Queen Sheila Jackson Lee’s seat in the Houston Heights (an older neighborhood with costly properties favored by upper middle class and upper class yuppies). They may be liberal Democrats but it’s not like Sheila gets challenged to debates every election.

I am afraid that you are right. The two parties have been around for more than a hundred years and it is not going to be quick or easy to have them removed. We do know that the Democrats want ever increasing power for the federal government and if they have their way they will be not that different than Hugo Chavez. Then to make sure that we will never rise again they will redouble their efforts to bring in as many third worlders as they possibly can.

We are in a grave situation, we need people who can strategize. We are not in control of our own country anymore so we have to work with whatever we can get and keep supporting Tea Party and other like minded candidates and well as holding our noses and voting for *moderate* Republicans when there is no other choice. At the same time we have to keep assertng our power on the local level. That means resolutions, laws, public demonstrations, whatever it takes to be influential in our communities. This is like a tug-of-war with Washington pulling the rope in one direction while we have to pull the rope in the opposite direction. It is only since the Tea Party movement that we have heard people seriously talking about the rights of the states.
