"There's no reason not to make a change like that to give an industry comfort, especially when it's an industry we want to do business in the state," the governor said.
Did he really say that? Clearly, some are more equal than others.

I think I’m going to make a low budget artistic movie in New York City using fake weapons of mass destruction from aliens(also fake, or maybe just use congress) I wonder if como(tose) would allow that as well.

Gov. Cuomo, a Roman Catholic who openly lives with a woman to whom he is not married and endorses the right to eliminate unborn children, says that only police and the military should have guns—except those persons and businesses that might benefit NY financially or politically.
NY’ers, I was just wondering how much more hypocrisy do you need before you throw the bum out?

A: No, his "comfort" quote in not included in yesterday's CBS article. OTOH, the last portion of the following quote was not included in the FoxNews article:
We spend a lot of money in the state bringing movie production here, post production here. So obviously we would want to facilitate that, Cuomo said. Cuomo said the prop firearms [NOTE: real firearms, not replicas] used in films would probably not be classified as an assault weapon.
But people want certainty and theres no reason not to make a change like that, the governor added. Apparently, they have blanks or they have phony magazines or something.

I feel so much safer knowing actors may play with guns. When ya need a cop, call an actor.
It’s also comforting to know that no actor has ever shot or been shot, or died in the line of acting.
We The People have been lowered to a rank below actors. Cool.
I want to know what Cuomo is smoking in the smoke free State.

Right. btw, it was Travis McGee's graphic that launched the search leading to this article.
"Need to change your caption, Travis" ping
"Except for cops! or hollywood!"

Hollywood doesn’t “need” prop firearms. How many do they need to shoot a deer?

Is this true The law was passed in a flurry of closed-door negotiations, without public hearings or a three-day review required of bills under the state constitution. , if so would the law be unconstitutional.

They don’t even see the hypocrisy, all they see is the (D) after his name. That’s all he needs.
