With all the government rules and procedures, wouldn’t there be some clear guideline as to who could authorize such a release. Looks like it could be pinned down whether such has to be authorized Obama, or Big Sis, or some level under her, per some specific guideline for that agency.

Or maybe some immigration court judge, or other federal judge.

"hundreds of illegal immigrants were released from jails because of government spending cuts"

What? 0bama ordered their release because he likes to PISS on Americans every chance he gets. This 'man' HATES America and seeks to corrupt, sabotage, taint, and ruin it every chance he gets. 0bama is flooding our streets with INVADERS in an attempt to smother us to death with filth, just like 0bamacare is his way of further bankrupting America to the point of no return. NO ONE will be able to fix 0bama's mess. NO ONE.

More brownshirts for 0bama. That's all this release means for him. A bigger army of foot soldiers from a foreign land.

I believe it is a fair question to ask your congressman, to ask the Mr. Mead if he thought that releasing these illegal immigrants was part of his balliwick???

He (Mr. Mead) was the guy in charge of arresting (enforcement) and the DEPORTATION of these very people in his charge...

So instead of releasing them, why not put them on a bus and take them to the border and dump them off???

Seems like a simple thing if you supposedly do not have the “money” to keep a hold of them...These illegal immigrants were already arrested, processed and were awaiting deportation, so they say...

I mean, it seems like a simple thing to do, to actually do your job...

Instead, we got this smoke screen once again, that is shielding the people who actually DID give the order...BecauseI do not believe for one second this guy acted on his own...Otherewise it seems to me the Mr. MEad broke the law, and thus needs to be arrested, charged, and should get his day in court...He might get off scott free if he gives up Janet Nepalitano...Then if she’s the one, the same should apply to her??? Right???

If it goes higher than that, then you get to the big enchilada...And that is an absolute high crime and misdemeanor, due a full impeachment proceding...

I know it wont get past that, but the impeachement should really stick, and the next 3-4 years will have that hanging over this Fabian socialists head for the remainder of his days in that job...

Enough is enough...We’ve had to put up with the feckless reposes to Fast And Furious, opposition by the Federal government to local and state enforcement of illegal immigration, Bengazi...This is an issue that needs addressing...

What have we to lose by not pressing the issue to those we expect to take, at the very least, the question of who gave the oreder for the release??? And why were they not simply deported if we could no longer house them???

I would light up the switchboard today, before these knuckleheads scoot out for the weekend...

I’ve already hit my Congressman Pete Olsen, and my Dad is lighting up Jeb Hensarling’s office as we speak...

Going to move up to Ted Cruz next...

Might as well do what we can...

We do not have the money to “re-collect” the previously “collected/arrested” to “re-process” them for “re-deportation”...

Or so says “da man”...

Again, we should light up the switchboards...I’ve already gotten thru to a couple of these congressmen, and even got Senator Ted Cruz’s office a short while ago...Cruz is on the Senate Judiciary committee, so what a perfect question to ask Mr. Mead when they should drag his carcass in there for an answer...

Let him lawyer up..., then when he obfuscates, charge him with obstruction...That woudl tie up his retirement benefits real good for the forseeable future...Then go after his boss Ms. Janet...I think this would actually be kinda fun to see them dance...

Just my opinion...

There is a missing word in the title - surely AP wouldn’t imply that LEGAL immigrants were being held in captivity?!?

It is up on Drudge now that it is not “hundreds”. They have released over 2,000. AP is reporting.

AP is reporting today (Friday) DHS has released over 2,000 illegal alien criminals from US jails onto to the streets of America. They plan to release over 3,000 more in March.

http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/03/01/v-fullstory/3261547/documents-us-released-more-than.html

It is clear Obama wants Americans to suffer and for blood to be spilled on the streets. All this just to prove his statements the sequester will cause havoc and suffering. Odds are with over 5,000 criminal aliens released he will get his wish.

Who would have figured that we would have someone in the white hut so venomously hateful against the public?
But their plan is falling into place: create a problem and provide the solution. So what will the solution be this time?

No, you hear Rush say there were 30,000 in custody and there were a total of 34,000 beds budgeted so they cannot say they were released to make space. I don’t think it’s been made clear how many were released yet.

Napolitano’s chief of staff is also leaving, for some unknown reason.

Has anyone heard Wolf Blizter or others in the beholden MSM mention this on TV? Who authorized it?
