Good reason for the Golden Rule to be taught in school. Would they like themselves or their children to be treated this way? My grandson has spina bifida and autism. He is prone to choking. Thank God his teachers and aides closely supervise him when he’s eating, and they know the Heimlich Maneuver and CPR. He occasionally refuses to eat, but there’s always a physical reason for that. The staff just reports the incident to his parents.
