You really have crossed the line of being a complete pompous jerk and self-righteous bore. Apparently your approach is not very effective either or you would have rolled back some of the anti-Christian & anti-American abuses being committed by legislatures or activist judges. Railing at other Christians is not getting the job done either. So now we’ve both got our shots in, let’s call it quits. I don’t agree with your approach and you don’t agree with mine. Enough said....it’s pointless to keep arguing like this in vain repetitions.
Of course I’ve ‘crossed your line’. You don’t want to hear it and made that clear a ways back on this thread. And not just of me - you made it clear you were sick and tired of Christians blaming Christians in America for this mess.
You might want to try and read Jeremiah.
What is interesting and also a virtual repeat of what you are angry at - is that Jeremiah was giving his nation a warning the they had sinned and had grown wicked also. His people did not want to hear his message either.
You accused me of being a failure in this message of repentance. Jeremiah started warning Israel when he was very young. He warned them for DECADES of impending judgment. His people refused to repent.
Was he a failure?
Ultimately the people he was sent to warn are truly the ones who failed - not Jeremiah. If the people are like you - they do not want to hear the warning - and they will get angry at those God inspires or sends to give them a warning before their nation is utterly destroyed.
Guess what happened to Jeremiah?
The very people who were pissed off this message, the people Jeremiah himself desperately wanted to save from God’s Righteous judgment - killed him.
Killed him because, like you - they thought those bringing a warning and laying the responsibility for where the nation had fallen, were pompous jerks too. So they killed him, as well as every other single messenger God ever sent to warn them of where they were going to end up.
