The 18-year-old told Fox 59 that his mother died two years ago and he was looking for a job to support his brothers and sisters. He had to drop out of high school and recently got his GED.

Awesome story. Best of luck to Jhaqueil Reagan in what will be the beginning of an astonishingly successful career. I hope that Mr. Bouvier is richly rewarded for recognizing and rewarding the potential of this young man.

I was impressed with the restaurant guy.
Instead of whining about Katrina and expecting a FEMA trailer and years of subsistence payments, he headed north, and used his unique menu to build a restaurant.
He’s getting good publicity which should only help his business.
I’m definitely checking it out even though it’s on the opposite side of town.

What a wonderful story. Kudos to both men. Maybe the proprietor will adopt the young man and his siblings. Wouldn’t that be cool? I hope we read a lot of follow ups on this story as the years progress.
