Is Minnesota, or is it not, required to confirm voter eligibility?

There is a problem with Election Day registrations: the people registering are not checked for eligibility before their votes are counted. That is why the Minnesota Voters Alliance and other plaintiffs are before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, arguing that Minnesota must confirm the eligibility of all voters before counting their ballots. That includes the more than 500,000 who register on Election Day in presidential-election years. Our lawsuit is based on the plain text of Article VII, Section 1 of the Minnesota Constitution, which says, "The following persons shall not be entitled or permitted to vote at any election in this state: A person not meeting the above requirements; a person who has been convicted of treason or felony, unless restored to civil rights; a person under guardianship, or a person who is insane or not mentally competent." The "above requirements" referenced deal with age, citizenship, and residence.

This pretty much explains why Minnesota is a solid-blue state.

Obviously the MN Secretary of State wants to protect the right of Democrat activists to stuff ballot boxes. In the razor thin election of Al Franken as US Senator, forgotten ballot boxes just happened to appear filled with Franken ballots.

Motor Voter was about enabling fraud.

Absenttee ballots was about continuing voter fraud when punch cards and lever machines were being removed for fraud.

it is long past the time to mandate vote fraud eliminations via : eliminating or precluding abstee ballots, requiring a government issued photo ID, NO SAME DAY REGISTRATION / voting.

zero tollerance prosecution for fraud and organizations enabling organizing fraud. (no more rogue agent excuses)

“The MN Sec. of State had a fraudster in his office”

True, but now that she’s gone, we have to rewrite your statement:
The MN Sec. of State HAS a fraudster in his office!

(a little Soros SOS project humor)
