We love them so much.
My list is short because my first pet arrived in my life when I was 35 years old. Mom never let me have pets. Tiger was a stray, about 12 weeks old, who walked into our garage and demanded food. She lived to be 19-1/2, and she enjoyed her pampered life as an indoor cat.
In both pictures, she is sitting in "her spot" where she could look out the window and
see the neighbor's dog in the driveway between the townhomes in our complex. That
was in 1983, in Southern California.
I thought an early night but didn’t make it. Dog and I walked for an hour and I got so awake I have been cleaning.
First dog I remember was preschool days. (Well over 70 years of dogs and an occasional cat too) It was a black and white beagle I named Princess Pat. I am told I named all my dolls Patty. Not my daughters though...LOL
I seem to remember many dogs before I married and had over 40 years more of often adopting older ones. ... and now in the last 20 years only 2 more, since I have been alone. I think these two are among the very best! They are small dogs and very attached to me. I need that now.
