Did any of those in attendance begin laughing out loud? I recall attending a “management conference” when our new leader was hired. He had his “management” theory to put forth. It was better than a SNL skit, or at least I thought. His presentation was wheels turning connected by a small wheel which he called the linch pin showing how everything is interconnected but some more important than others. Yeah. He keeps telling us someone has to get out there and do his job, because he's not doing it. Someone (obviously not him) has to take a leadership role!
