Yes, indeed. At various times TB was responsible for 1/4 of all deaths. The emergence of drug-resistant TB is scarey stuff indeed.

It has that feeling of a spark around a gas leak. Maybe nothing will happen, but there might be such a sudden outbreak that millions, literally millions, could die before there is any possibility of getting a handle on it. It flatly does NOT surprise me that such a horror would get its start in a DEMOCRAT controlled festering boil like Los Angeles. Open borders, sanctuary policies, "rights" for the homeless, and obtuse judges.

I read that in South Africa, that this type of TB quickly overpowers people who have HIV. Death is certain.
