We have a Palladian window in our bedroom, which because of its size lets in a lot of light, despite the fact that it faces north. As soon as the sky starts to get light, without the sun being visible, the light in the bedroom is quite bright.
I like having the sun in the afternoon and early evening, when Mr. T and I can sit on the deck together.
We need sunlight. It affects us dramatically.
I also love birdsong. I was outside late one night last week and the nightbirds were singing. I stood in the cold awhile and listened.
