What can the ratings be for a talk show on this matter [sequestration]?
I came to the conclusion long ago that these Sunday morning talkshows are not ratings/viewership driven. They seem to have a relatively consistent number of viewers week after week. They seem to be just filler material as an alternative to religious programming.
That is the reason they
survive with the same ole weekly guests and same ole topics/issues and same ole agenda positions.
I haven't checked their ratings/viewership numbers in a long while, but, IIRC, the most watched only gets about 3 million viewership.
A quick google search showed CBS's Face The Nation as #1 with 3.37 million vewers in the 25-54 adults classification on February 10. [source:

Back when I worked in the lamestream media shows like this were referred to as “prestige items” by ad sales types. Pretty ironic that an hour of lies, half-truths, circumvention, empty punditry, demogoguery, and ego-venting, etc., comprises “presitige” in our lamestream media.
Anyhoo, Jindal is pretty good today.
