To: BBell

That series finally ended last year. It had very few viewers, (even by Canadian standards). The only reason that it survived so long is that it was produced and broadcast by the government-owned, and heavily-subsidized CBC. But, let’s not call it propaganda. That would be rude.

Sadly this is what us Canadians are up against. We have Sun News, the only conservative news source, in its infancy and struggling to keep its head above water. Canada is the only Western nation I know of that has a regulator (CRTC) that actually decides what content must be carried by its broadcasters.
