A rapper was shot on the Vegas strip the other night. News reported he was also a pimp, but, oh he was a struggling rapper.

Cherry Sr. said he didn’t know how his son made money or if he had any other jobs.
“I want to make it clear that my son was no gangster or nothing like that,” he told The Associated Press. “He moved to Vegas about six year ago and he was writing music and rap.”

I can relate. I remember one Christmas season I got that part-time job at Macy’s’ Customer Service counter...Man, were those lines long back then...

He should have stuck to writing music. Things might have turned out better.
