There’s another composer whose work was programmed fairly often before the war, but whose music disappeared afterwards. Wagner hated him because he was Jewish.

He was anti-Semitic and also apparently irresponsible with his finances. Nevertheless, I am of the opinion that his music was magnificent and that it redeems him despite his faults.
