IMHO, dismantle the welfare system and the illegal immigration problem disappears.
Current law is routinely flouted and side-stepped. Hitting them in the wallets will do much more than a simple plea-out, if they’re prosecuted at all.

SCOTUS is not the final arbiter of the Law, We the People are the beginning and end. Congress doesn’t have the stones to pass a real CUT in the budget, but you expect them to follow the Constitution, as written??
Redundant? Self punitive? What’s stopping the multi-border jumper these days? Continual re-deportation? Bad enough the drain on our healthcare/education system, let alone the auto accident problems....Hell, might as well give them a how-to apply for ‘benefits’ in their own language. Wait, what?
