Really funny that this bird is found only on private land. Or is the reason that it is, that the government has taken such bad care of its land that the bird can't live there any more?

It's not enough the government has taken a majority of the land in the West -- its goal apparently is to have it all, so that it can all become as worthless as what it has now.

Approximately 95 percent of the critical habitat proposed for San Juan County is on private land.

The impact on private land is significant since more than 92 percent of the land in San Juan County is owned by the state or federal government, leaving just eight percent of the total land mass as private ground.

The US Fish and Wildlife initially did not plan a meeting in Monticello. It was added later at the request of San Juan County.

At a similar meeting in Dove Creek, CO in January, federal agents from Homeland Security, dressed in tactical gear and carrying weapons, were in attendance.

Just finished reading “Eco-Fascists: How Radical Conservationsts are Destroying Our National Heritage” by Elizabeth Nickson.

Excellent book on how the government, big corporations, trust fund babies and ENGO’s are implementing UN agenda 21 piecemeal through the Endagered Spieices Act and junk sciene such as biodiversity and conservation biology. In the book the author specifically writes about the sage grouse and other environmental causes that are turning land into deserts.

Highly recommend it. Especially for those in Utah trying to save their heritage and fight big gov. The author gives actual cases/events where citizen warriors fought back and won. She also gives their contact information.

What is that UN treaty that affectingly bans private ownership of land?

The grouse are not doing good around here, because there is no food or habitat for them.

“Pleading that the responses should be non-emotional may be very difficult in what has become a very emotional issue. “

I REALLY sick of PC types demanding that you and I ‘not get emotional’ when they are screwing us every way they can!

GET MAD PEOPLE! IT’s the only way they’ll even know you exist!

Don't know much about the population in Kane County. We do have wild turkeys galore. They will probably come after us next. This painting was made at the elevation between Mount Carmel and Kanab. No Sage grouse found there.

If anyone wants to be on or off the Agenda 21 ping list, please notify me by Freepmail. It is a relatively low volume list in which we have been exploring the UN Agenda21 and related topics. We have collected our studies with threads, links, and discussions on the Agenda 21 thread which can be found here:

NEW ACTION THREAD:

Post 128 of the Action Thread is a summary of the history of Agenda 21, “what they are doing”, “what to do about it” and a good bibliography for further reading.
