Let's be real.....He likely continuously threatened her and restricting the arms would make him even angrier...and sh'ed be offed just a bit sooner. This was an ongoing thing for a long time. She was a victim in more ways than one.

If he had no access to the guns he could not have shot anyone.

He might have stabbed people, blown them up, run over them with cars, poisoned them or used any one of a number of other means to off the people, but he could not have shot them.
