I don’t know what possible negative terms you could NOT use when describing muslimes as they would all be true.

No word in the English language could adequately describe the depths of evil from which that death cult spews forth. Their filth defies description.

“Total abnegation” probably comes close to describing the effect of Islam as a whole, and the Jihadist philosophy in particular, on civilizaton both Western and Eastern.

Despite its reputation as the custodian of learning and scholarly pursuit during the period known as the “Dark Ages” of medieval Europe, Islam really did little or nothing to preserve learning in their “universities”. Those institutions were first and foremost repositories for the study and implementation of Islam, not science and mathematics. Such knowledge as was preserved, must be mostly attributed to the Persians and the Hindu of India, and that largely through the Zoroastrians, hounded and driven out of Persia in the 8th Century. Persia itself was put under subjugation by the Islamic hordes that swept out of Arabia, and much of their civilization was co-opted or even submerged by the bands of barbarians that overran their land, converting many by threat of death.

Everywhere they went, Mohammed Ali’s horde sowed death and destruction, with a fanaticism unmatched until the time of the Spanish Inquisition, a countervailing force and philosophy that eventually drove Islam from the mainland of Spain.

And with the departure of Islam, the Dark Ages finally lifted from all of Europe.

Coincidence? I think not, even though there were multiple other reasons for the rather rapid revolution that was the Renaissance.
