No!

I can tell you right now the Answer is no.

The Military (and especially the air force) has an epidemic right now of Sexual Misconduct.

There are many fine Female Airmen out there, but I am just gonna say it.

The Air Force has the largest Numbers of Females in the Military,I think it is like 23% of the Air Force are girls.

Make no mistake why the A.F. has the most number of sexual assaults. The more girls their are around the more chance for unscrupulous men to prey on them.

This will only make things worse.

Like Most liberal Causes the "fix" is designed to weaken their intended target.

Women in combat units: Will it result in mission failure?

Men who are superb in combat often have a powerful instinctual impulse to protect women who they perceive are at risk, even at the risk of their own lives.

While there are many men more than willing to send women into combat to draw fire, these men are not particularly good warriors. But those who excel at fighting are often paralyzed if they see females at risk.

In past, efforts were made to make a thornless blackberry bush, but it was soon discovered that flavor and sweetness in blackberries comes from the same genetic pattern that creates thorns. You cannot have one without the other.

A real warrior in combat is worth a hundred ordinary men who have been trained to be soldiers. In a fight, he will best them. Unless there is a woman present who is at risk.

The socialist left are convinced beyond argument that women are exactly the same as men and can do all the things men can do. They are so sure of their religious doctrines that they would accept enormous numbers of casualties and killed, of men and women, and the failure of the military mission, not to prove that they are right, but just to prove that they set the rules.

Once failure was blindingly obvious, they would then blame it on lack of funding, or sabotage by their opponents, or that not enough women were in combat. All lame and disgusting rationalizations.

Especially when the reality is grievous injury and death, and failure of the military mission.

They eventually forced through their equally beloved socialized medicine, Obamacare, and though it is also a murderous failure, they do not care. They just do not care, because human life means nothing to them, as long as all must obey their religious faith.

A guy who worked ‘sexual assault’ at a base I was at told me that every case they had during the previous year involved women going out drinking with some guys, going back to their room and drinking with A guy, and then waking up and realizing she had sex sometime during the night. She would then claim rape.

The guy, of course, would say it was consensual. And since no one else in adjoining rooms heard any sounds of a struggle, it would normally be dropped.

So...putting gals out in the field with a lot of young, very fit guys...anyone think it won’t happen MORE often? The CJCS isn’t that stupid, so that leaves dishonest as the only explanation.

You fail to understand the real goal of those who wish to include women in combat units, i.e., to compromise the ability of our warriors to fight.

So, yes, all of the problems you describe will occur. These America haters are not blind to the chance of failure of the fighting units with women added; they are counting on it.

As A female who has been in the military, a female has more to worry about from lesbians than men.

Sort of gives a new meaning to the “buddy system”.

Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, says that he is hopeful that making the combat roles of women official will create a greater environment of respect for women, which in turn may have an impact on instances of sexual harassment and assault.

“I believe it's because we've had separate classes of military personnel, at some level,” he said at a press conference Thursday.

It is sad that the decision makers responsible for such incredibly stupid policies are not punished somehow when the nonsensical policies fail as predicted.

This has never worked in the history of mankind. Just because some fool with power and with a warped and twisted notion of a "perfect" society, will not make it happen. Men and women are not interchangeable, as the feminists declare. Too bad the fools will get away without punishment.

“I have to believe, the more we can treat people equally, the more likely they are to treat each other equally.”

Really, General? Then let's expand on that belief. As a soldier, I want to be equal to you. I want all your perks and authority and the same pay you receive. After all, that's fair and equal. Also, I want to wear all of the same skill badges and awards that some of the other soldiers wear that earned them, because, after all, that's fair and equal. I want to sit in and bark commands from the M1A2 TC seat and be the PC back seater in the AH-64D regardless of my competency level, because those too, would be fair and equal.

It further reduces women and men to interchangeable cogs.

And that is the true purpose of Communism. To obliterate all the natural characteristics of humanity so that we become humaniod drones of the collective toiling ceaselessly for, and unable to resist our God-King Masters. Make no mistake about it. The men behind Communism, Globalism, or whatever you want to call it look to the Pharaohs of Egypt, the Emperors of Rome, the Sultans of Arabia with envious eyes and say, "We are going to out do them all."

This has never worked in the history of mankind.

But...but what about Israel? /Leftist impression

Debunking the Israeli 'women in combat' myth 08/02/2001

Despite 225 years of witnessing the horror of wars fought by male American soldiers, there are still a number of idiots – mostly feminists who themselves will never have to face an armed enemy soldier – pushing lawmakers to drop a ban against allowing women in combat.

A perfect example of a "continued push" coming to fruition.
This has been an ongoing effort for some time.

How many other issues will win through simply because leftists continue pushing till they succeed in their endeavors?
Pretty scary thought, eh?

They are simply looking for ways to rationalize an unpopular decision that has no merit.

Agreed. Not only is it unpopular, it is unwise, immoral, and destructive to our military's effectiveness.....IMO.

We demand a black beret too!

Defense Leaders Uphold Army's Black Beret Decision March 16, 2001

Army Chief of Staff Gen. Eric Shinseki announced his intent last October to issue the beret to all soldiers and started a controversy among current and former Army Rangers and in Congress. The black beret has been worn traditionally only by Rangers, an elite, highly trained combat group.

Snip...Army dumps beret as official ACU headgear Jun 13, 2011
A top issue was the beret, which became standard headgear on June 14, 2001. Then-Chief of Staff Gen. Eric Shinseki said the change was not about recruiting, retention or morale, but rather about “our excellence as soldiers, our unity as a force and our values as an institution.”

“Not only is it unpopular, it is unwise, immoral, and destructive to our military’s effectiveness.....IMO.”

I think it will be borne out as fact; it isn’t just your opinion. It has been tried unsuccessfully in other countries, and our record with “non-combat” women is bad enough.

The Left, like the Khmer Rouge from 1975-1979, is determined to erase any past culture/traditions that made us what we are, and they want to “reset” with a blank page in which thousands of years of Judeo-Christianity and thousands of years of Western Civilization simply never happened.

Looking at young people today, the Left is doing a tremendously successful job.

It is clear to me that they want women in the combat arms simply because they never intend to fight another war. It just will allow women to rise in the ranks of an entirely paper tiger armed forces. The new drone medal is also a method of getting non-combatants promoted.

“One again, we shake our fists at God and tell Him that we will re-define all reality in our image.”

Now, now, can’t be blaming the theologically shaky amongst us for the deliberate destruction of America by communists.

Bammy and his Boyz (gender assumptions are questionable, I know) are Alinskyite commies and Muslim apologists. To what extent Judeo-Christian concepts even entered their minds is questionable.

Human nature was well known back when Moses was still using stone tablets to store data. Even treason was well known by then. Interestingly, homosexuality was also described, but we are now told by the “Ever So Wise & Enlightened” that we have “evolved” to a more “sophisticated society”.

However, with apologies to Kipling, “Queer is queer, and Right is right, and never the twain shall meet.”

“It is clear to me that they want women in the combat arms simply because they never intend to fight another war.”

That’s true (at least another war “on the ground”). It really looks like they’re looking to provide some new jobs for the thousands of government workers already laid off, and thousands more postal workers that will be laid off; gubmint “workfare”.
