This is what the Bible calls being "born again". The dead spirit within is regenerated/reborn by God. This is spiritual renewal.
America these days is exceedingly wicked. Unborn babies are slaughtered by the millions, thousands each day. The glorification of reprobate evil is everywhere. The only spiritual renewal that will make a difference is individuals coming to God on His terms.
