Russian nuclear bombers intercepted near Guam

U.S. military officials tell NBC News that two Russian bombers, capable of carrying nuclear cruise missiles, circled the U.S. island of Guam in the Western Pacific this week. U.S. Air Force F-15 jets scrambled from Andersen Air Force Base on Guam to intercept the bombers.

According to one military official, the Russian Bear bombers remained in international airspace, the encounter between the U.S. and Russian aircraft “stayed professional” and there was no incident. The official said it’s impossible to determine whether the Russian bombers carried any nuclear weapons.

You got to hand it to Obama.

You fly nuclear bombers around Guam and we will blast you with a giant meteor.

Bet they don’t mess with Guam again.

Russians are probably just probing. Trying to find out if Obama will curl up in the fetal position when faced with a challenge and no sycophant media running cover for him.

Remember the Georgia Demoncrat US Rep. (the first to endorse President Pinhead in 2008) who expressed concern that Guam might “tip over”?
Maybe not, it didn’t get much traction anywhere but here.
But Marco Amnesty’s sip of water got 155 replays on MSNBC in one day (thread below)?
And people wonder why we freepers can be so peckish ...

This is where the Ø regime can maximize our strengths. In case of nuclear attack on Guam, by shifting the population just a tad, the underside of the island can be tipped, and thus shifted, in-effect to use it as a protective shield. Perhaps we elected geniuses after all!

How are they so sure these planes were carrying weapons? Tu-95’s are also used as reconnaissance planes.

Ah, yes. The incomparable Hank Johnson (D-GA).

I still think the USN Admiral he was questioning deserves an award for keeping a straight face and not collapsing in uncontrolable laughter.

When the phone rings at 2 am Obama rolls over and pulls the covers up over his head.

Maybe conservatives are losing because so many have that attitude.

Maybe some of us served where we saw this on a daily basis. Maybe some of us don't panic over nothing.

Maybe the relentless nastiness of conservatives are part of the reason why they are becoming irrelevant.

A normal person might say “I know with Obama in power this appears troubling, but I do think it is any thing to worry about.”

But a conservative will invariably be smug and nasty. It really is off - putting a big reason why the Tea Party collapsed.
