Once credit cards became the norm in the 1990s....it’s hard for any political figure to hide his illicit spending. You need to do this corrupt stuff strictly in cash, and avoid every showing a trail. As for his prison sentence? He’ll spend eighteen months at best in some fed prison, and get out to enjoy his pension deal with the government eventually.

almost all democrat political funds are from the treasury...so most of that money was government funds
