Bill Nye will have some cockamamie theory about how SUVs are acting like magnets pulling these asteroids towards earth.

damn global warming...Correct.
It's just science. Since we evil humans are trapping our heat underneath all of that excess CO2 that we are creating the side effect is that, from outer space, the earth looks "cool".
It is well known that "cool" attracts teenage girls. It less well known that it also attracts meteorites.
When will we learn that you can't mess around with Mother Nature?

No. It’s global mating. Mt. Everest is getting bigger, and all those little asteroids are hovering around, looking to get some action.

CNN says it’s global warming. Someone needs to discuss that things from outer space are outside the “globe” and if warming attracts them, then they’d all be flying to the sun. Geeesh!

Your read my mind.
Has CNN had James Hanson on with Will Steiger and Algore yet ?

When I saw a report of this in the a.m. on the Weather Channel, one of my 1st thoughts was I wonder how long it would be before some moron speculated it was due to GW. (Not you; I know you were being sarcastic. I meant the liberal morons who believe in this junk science.) Lo & behold, a few posts down and there's a CNN anchorwoman asking the question on the air.
I'm sure some idiot will say that because our atmosphere has been weakened by global warming, it allowed this meteor to get through instead of disintegrating upon entry.
Maybe they should change the name of it to Galaxy Warming.
