It really is miraculous. Maybe just a wake up call. Psalm 57:10-11 :)

Maybe BO should travel to the Holy Land by ship. I recommend Carnival.

Ah, thanks for that info. Fox News online is still saying 49 feet wide and 10 tons, which is ridiculous, unless the thing was made of cotton candy, or maybe typical MSM brain cells. :-)

Does anyone know what the rational is for an observatory to spot asteroids to be near Venus’ orbit? Seems like a couple observatories on Earth’s moon would be much easier to implement Then you start building your countermeasures there, too. Just a small nudge is all that’s needed if you spot the thing early...

Answer to own question: From Venus’ orbit you can more easily spot asteroids coming at the Earth from nearby the sun.

I take it as a sign that NASA should stop studying the earth and get back into the exploration, pathfinding, and prospecting business.

NASA already has a plan for how to deal with these asteroids. It involves building mosques and praying to allah.

That’s pretty crazy. At first I thought the link was going to show how the Russia meteor was also seen in Cali. But, they were two different incidents! Wow, thx.

All because Saturn shook her rings at Earth and got it all globally warmed. This is not a man-made problem. It’s the fault of a planetary slut.

From the article to which LadyEleanor posted a link:

“The Mayak nuclear complex near the town of Ozersk was not affected by the incident, according to reports. Mayak, one of the world’s biggest nuclear facilities that used to house plutonium production reactors and a reprocessing plant, is located 72 kilometers northwest of Chelyabinsk.”

Last night, about 8pm Pacific time, I was at work, in Hollister, California, with two other people when we saw a meteor or a meteorite soar through the sky northeast to southwest and at the angle it was at, I pretty sure it missed land and splashed into the ocean.
