Stories sympathetic to virtue, preservation of property and admiration of nobility and of wealth can be told beautifully and to wide audiences, and I suspect they will be more and more in the future...also probably irritating the leftists no end is the fact that conservatives are not pictured as being totally close-minded, ideologically-bound bigots - I especially enjoyed the idea that as Thomas's unusual preference became known to the household, the reaction was pretty uniformally portrayed as "who didn't know that?" - Even Robert (? - the patriarch) said something like "If I screamed every time I was kissed at Eton, I'd be hoarse now" - amusing......
