This has a possibility of passing in Minnesota.
So what if this passes, I would bet that less then 1% of Minnesotans would turn in their firearms, which would result in about 80% of Minnesotans suddenly outlaws.
One other unintentional side effect that libs may or may not have considered...if states require companies which do business with the state to be their “enforcement arm” via HR departments, you will also have a major job losses. I know of many people in the utility industry who are both well armed and quite capable without all of modern lifes convienences. These people will neither give up their weapons nor be fired for not turning in their weapons without a response (imagine city sewer, electricity, fire and emergency services disappearing).
Even if there are lots of unemployed out there, they can’t just step into many of these jobs without the support of those who have been doing this for a while. Contrary to popular liberal belief, things run much different then how an instruction manual says. Not everything can be covered by written procedures, that’s why you have people with specific field experience to train in the new people.
