I agree 100%. The Washington Redskins names is horribly offensive to all freedom loving Americans. It stands for oppression, corruption and the theft of human and civil rights!

I demsnd that WASHINGTON immediately be removed from the team’s name!

Maryland Redskins is not only less offensive, but more geographically accurate.

Since their fan base extends into Northern Virginia as well, how about The Beltway Bandits. Or maybe the Beltway Bastards is even more descriptive of the main industry there.
