Keep in mind that our consulate was attacked and our Ambassador butchered in the streets on foriegn soil - and we have not done a thing about it. Not a single thing.
The authors’ conclusion was that Stevens died in the building from smoke inhalation by a fire started at the building with diesel fuel and then tires were thrown on top of that. When a window was broken out to escape, the smoke got there that much faster.
Details on How his body was recovered were scarce in the book..and that remains largely unanswered..but they DID have some Libyan friends in the area...
Name another country that would do nothing after one of their ambassadors was murdered.
