Says nation needs to figure out why Americans are different
WASHINGTON – Rock showman, humanitarian and TV host Ted Nugent, who also is a columnist for WND, says he thinks America needs to start over because of the mess that Washington has made of the nation.
He told reporters today in advance of Barack Obama’s State of the Union address that if he were giving the speech, he would say, “We need to start over and review the subjects that made us different than King George.”
Nugent, who was invited to accompany Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, to the Obama speech, described government in Washington as a “scam.”
“The modus operandi is already established … it is all a scam,” he said, noting the White House reportedly has invited illegal aliens to attend the address in support of Obama’s immigration-reform proposal.
“To bring illegal aliens is an expression of the true state of the union,” Nugent said.
Stockman, who has been described by Politico as “Obama’s No. 1 needler,” said he was excited to “have a patriot like Ted Nugent” join him for the State of the Union address.
Nugent has been critical of Obama, expressing the concern last year that he would be “dead or in jail by this time next year” under a second Obama term.
He has accused Obama of planning to confiscate Americans’ guns and has described the president as “evil.”

King George’s tax rates were lower.
But Obama hasn’t yet begun quartering troops in our homes.

That is exactly what I thought. I'd gladly pay the various taxes that King George's parliament tried to impose on the colonies in exchange for what we have to pay today. For all of its problems, for the most part, you were left alone in King George's England.

And what did King George get when, after years of very unpopular laws and taxes, he tried to disarm the American Colonists?
