Except Jerry Sandusky announced in July 1999 that he was retiring effective the end of the 1999 season. All of 1999 was Sandusky's goodbye tour.
During the '99 season, he brought Victim #4 to the pre-game Friday night banquets (where they sat at the coaches' table) and sleepovers at Toftree's, and Victim #4 went to the Alamo Bowl that year with Sandusky.
V#4 alleges he was molested by Sandusky both at Toftree's and at the Alamo Bowl.
Mike McQueary may never have seen Sandusky with a Second Mile kid on campus again . . . but one of the claimants not represented among those named in the grand jury presentment is a boy who alleges he was molested in the Penn State football offices in 2004. His attorney provided the police with Penn State memorabilia (a hockey puck and some PSU National Championship memorabilia) that the boy says Sandusky gave him. Perhaps MM didn't have any recruiting videos to pick up that night.
It’s all easy in hindsight. I don’t want to go back into the testimony of V4, but I believe js’s wife was on the bowl trip as well. There was nothing unusual about js being around boys. He was cleared for SIX adoptions for crying out loud!
If you start following the money and the ones who are actually covering their asses, you (along with me) will find the truth. And that trail of deceit certainly doesn’t lead to McKee St.
It’s funny they want to make a movie when this mess is barely into the 3rd quarter.
Chronological Chart of Sandusky’s Abuse from the 2010 Grand Jury Presentment:
•Victim 7 - Abused 1997 in PSU pool.
•Victim 10 – Abused 1997-1999 in pool and Sandusky’s home
•Victim 4 - Abused 1998-2000 in various locations.
•Victim 6 - Single shower incident 1998.
•Victim 5 - Single shower incident 1998.
•Victim 3 - Abused 2000 at Sandusky home & in shower.
•Victim 8 - Abused PSU shower 2000, Victim has not been identified, only by hearsay witness.
•Victim 2 – Abused PSU shower 2001 - witnessed by McQueary – reported by PSU officials, who reported it to Second Mile.
(Four years of apparent stop of abuse.)
•Aaron Fisher (Victim 1) – Abused 2005-2008 at Sandusky’s home & CMHS.
•Victim 9 – Abused 2006-2009 at Sandusky’s home
Note the absence of Sandusky victimizations after the 2001 incident for not only 4 years of apparent stop of abuse but also not again on the PSU campus.
One way or the other Sandusky got the message in 2001 from Curley and others at his charity that interrupted his activities and caused him to back off.
Therefore those who are saying that PSU officials did nothing in 2001 are being intellectually dishonest. He stopped for 4 years and never again victimized on PSU campus. Let’s get that part of this story straight.
