We really need to do a better job on our delivery. I would have had Rubio deliver the response in front of supporters and with a slower pace.

any response to a President in front of Congress won’t come off well. I don’t even see why the other party bothers. The Republicans should just say “look, everyone knows we disagree with the President. Tonight was his night. We’ll see you guys later.”
