Our side better learn to speak politics!! Because that’s what’s been kicking our ass. whether its making the rounds on every talk radio station in the land or doing some Spanish when appropriate. Its called politics. We’ve been loosing our ass at it. Time to turn things around.
I don’t recall Obama giving any speeches in Spanish, and he seemed to do ok among hispanics.

It’s a bit insulting to think a group would vote based on such superficial and shallow reasons. We need to give them more credit than that.
Romney had Rubio front and center at the convention giving the big speech just before he came on. Didn’t seem to sway many hispanics. He had Gov Martinez from NM in a big spot in prime time. Ditto.
I agree the GOP needs to do better at reaching hispanics and other minorities, but it’s going to take a lot more than some guy saying a few words in the mother tongue.
What’s next, will Rubio give his next speech wearing a sombrero and a mariachi outfit while strumming a guitar?
