I saw the ad for House of Cards and I thought:

Oh, boy, I'll bet they'll make all the Republicans look like political monsters and the democrats look like human rights crusaders constantly held back by evil conservatives... Like so many other shows on politics written, starred, produced and directed by the Left...

Without giving away too much of the plot, I'll just say that the Dem House Whip wants to be VP and 'manipulates' events to create an opening.
