I've been aware for a while -- not that long, a year maybe -- that Norquist's wife has Hamas connections and that he's been palling around with Alamoudi and the other people you mention, who should never have come closer to the White House than the Pennsylvania Avenue fence.
That still doesn't signify the final degree of commitment that a personal conversion to Wahhabism and Salafism would imply, and until the man declares himself a Moslem, as with Obama, his associations allow us only to say, "I think he is a Moslem." After all, he has not made a statement like the one Obama made to Nicholas Kristof in 2007, in which Obama "happened" to recite the entire Shehada, the Moslem Confiteor, in Arabic, while entertaining Kristof with the sound of the evening call to prayer. And we do not have the Egyptian foreign minister telling Cairo newspapermen, "That man told me he is a Moslem."
You may be right -- but you may be mistaken, and all of Norquist's associations may be laid on undue influence by his wife and the allure of available political money, the crack cocaine of politics.

Mistaken about what...that he is a Muslim convert? He’s been asked and has refused to answer. His questionable associations started before he had the wife. Grover is out for Grover. Period.
