Had the Republican Party funded candidates the states had selected, instead of trashing them (like tea party candidates), they might have had a good chance of winning. But he really can’t afford to have conservatives getting to much control in the Republican Party as it threatens his survival.

Rove will climb on top of the bodies of fellow Republicans to boost HIS elitist insider over the top.
When the DemoRat attacks don't kill those fellow Republicans so he can climb on their bodies, then Rove does, by putting a knife in their back, allowing his elitist candidate a clear path to the top. Then rove is pulled up right behind by that candidate.
