Right you are...and he knows it!
I thought Obama was--possibly, only possibly--touched by the things Dr. Carson was saying.
After all, Dr. Carson really earned his way in this country. He proved his mettle.
Obama is not a black man from this country, he never had to fight...he had it easy, he was rich by comparison.
Dr. Carson is the voice of truth and of America. Obama has no frikken idea what it was like.
Obama is just a simple, run of the mill Communist. He is nothing but a product of his indoctrination.
There is nothing EARNED by Obama...it was all handed to him gratis (as they say in the South...Free Gratis).
Separate Obama from his indoctrination and what you find is...Valerie Jarrett.
Only got to hear 1/2 the speech, it was great and Obama and the Mrs were there also...land line took 1 1/2 hours to down load 1/2 of it, then I quit....it was 29 minutes long
He is indeed incredible. Did you happen to catch his interview on Hannity last evening? It was inspiring. Dr. Carson is truly a light in the darkness.
He has several books. From Amazon comments, he upsets liberals, so might be good reads.
He has a remarkable background, is an evangelical, and has performed many remarkable surgeries - including one one conjoined twins joined at the skull.
Although many surgeon teams thought the resulting surgery would fail and leave each twin incapacitated for life, the surgery was successful.
When Obama first took office there were opinion pieces on if The Dr. Would be named Surgeon General. The left was very vocal about having a evangelical person in that position.
If you ever get the chance, read some of his opinions and writings.
For 5 years (since his first book) , I have felt he has the closest belief system and opinions closest to mine than any other public figure.
I do need to get his newest book.
He wrote a couple others after his first, but I did not read those.
No,I didn’t catch the Hannity interview.
I was on serious storm watch for most of the rest of the evening (I’m in Eastern MA).
I’ll certainly be following Dr Carson from now on.

A great story; and kudos to you for your outreach. I took a few ghetto children under my wing some years ago, and they were wonderful until they hit age 12. Then the streets took over. It was heartbreaking. But we have to try to reach as many impoverished youth as we can.
