Even if Nixon had taken Illinois' electoral votes in the election of 1960, it would not have changed the election results. The tab was Kennedy 303, Nixon 219, with 15 unpledged democratic electors.
I have no doubt that there was massive voter fraud in Chicago but it did not elect Kennedy. Illinois had 26 electoral votes at the time.
You’re right, but you can’t leave out the fraud in Texas. LBJ did his part. I don’t recall the numbers exactly, but I think Nixon would have been about 267 or so. He lost Hawaii on a recount. With Illinois and Texas Nixon would have won. Double check it, but I believe Nixon should have been President.
