I seriously don't know why I follow the news, the insufferable stupidity of this administration and the journalists who propagandize for them is driving me to an early grave.

I.e. they’re changing the targeting.
They're not stupid. This is the plan. Their hatred of the US is all consuming and its destruction will be seen by them (if they live) as justice for an aggrieved world.
