Having served in WWII and just missing combat deployment by a few days I can tell you that not all men and boys in uniform were fierce soldiers. If they want to push his ‘Battle of the Bulge’ heroics I would like to hear more about his actual participation. However, the guy has to be given his due for even being in the vicinity at the time and I suspect he was into the fight.
