His war is against stupid candidates. And I agree.

I'm against stupid candidates like Akin as well, but I trust Rove about as much as I'd trust Obama. Rove's track record is not very good strictly from a competence standpoint.

Rove’s track record not good? I’d say winning two Presidential campaigns is more than any other active Republican politician you can name.

Just say you don’t like him, or his viewpoint, but I wouldn’t question his competence.

Less than 200,000 voters spread over several states and everyone would be saying how brilliantly he predicted the outcome.

Who would suspect that so many Republican voters from 2008 wouldn’t even go to the polls?

And some were anti-Mormon and some were turned off by morons like Akin. If you have folks like that carrying the Republican brand as the face of your party, you are going to lose. Period.

And that is what Rove and others are trying to change. The Tea Party folks are fine citizens for the most part but if you let radicals take over, you can’t win.
