Should judges be held to a different standard when people in all walks of life with mental health issues are able to function normally with medication?

Apparently she doesn't take her medication.

I chuckled sadly when I read the part of the article wherein her attorney states that she now recognizes going off of her meds was a mistake.

My mom (RIP) was bipolar, and whenever she was on her meds she knew that was the right thing.

And when she was off her meds, the entire world was just a buzzkill for her, and the meds were (as she said) killing her.

I confess I’m conflicted on this story. Folks shouldn’t lose their jobs due to a medical condition, but at the same time, an off her bipolar meds judge is not someone I’d like to be in court with.

People in all walks of life don’t make life and death judgments about OTHER people’s lives. They don’t send them away for years.

No, there are enough problems with judges, we don’t need one sitting on the bench who’s got such big mental issues. She could maybe get a group rate at an institution with her cousin JJJr?
