Who will sign for registered mail if the recipient is working Mon - Fri? You will, when you drive to the post office to pick it up. They'll leave you a little green post card alerting you to the fact that you have mail at the p.o. Just like they currently do.

I know about the little green cards, but some people like our neighbor do all the grocery shopping on Saturday. We've signed for several of their UPS and FEDEX packages that needed signatures. He has a pharmaceutical supply as a part-time job from home and gets prescription samples on a regular basis.
