We just ran one of the most liberal candidates of either party, in history, against someone who in most ways, was even more liberal.

If the GOP today is arguably to the left of the democrats of the 1970s or roughly the same, then it looks like demographics won.

I do not believe that is where the nation is. Our nation is right of center.
